FLY CASTING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Fly Casting Skills Development Program is designed to be a fun way to comfortably and methodically increase your fishing fun. The program helps you to learn casts and skills that you use when fly fishing, with each level adding or further developing a skill set. Among the skills covered are roll casts, shooting line, accuracy, mending, and casting from both dominant and non-dominant side.

Buff fly casting instructors are available to explain and help Buff members curious about, or wanting to attempt the fly casting skills development program Wednesday mornings between 9-11:00 AM- unless it is below 40 degrees F, or raining. We gather at Cottell Park in Deerfield township (map).

Bring your own casting gear, or we can provide some to use if you don’t have it (and help you decide what to purchase when you are ready).
