DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nTrip Description\nBuckeye Veterans Fly Fishing are meetin
 g at the Kingswood Park pond for a morning of fishing and camaraderie. For
 merly a golf course\, this pond holds sunfish\, blue gills\, largemouth\,
  and if you're up for it\, big carp. Also a good opportunity to work on y
 our casting skills and learn some options for still water fishing.  Want 
 to try Tenkara? Tenkara is the art of Japanese fly fishing—a rod\, a lin
 e\, and a fly. Give it a try.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAll Veterans are welcome.\n\n&

 in Simpson Rd\, Mason OH. (Exit 19\, I-71)\n\nIf you park at the shelter o
 ff Irwin Simpson it's a longer walk across the park and Innovation Way to 
 the pond. Park in the lot on Duke Blvd across from Montessori Academy of C
 incinnati to shorten the walk. The Parking lot is fairly recent and does n
 ot show up on most maps\, but the links below will take you directly to it

 twists\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nSchedule\n Meet at the Duke Blvd. parking lot\, 9 
 a.m. Fish until noon\,\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nFacilities\nThere are tables and re
 strooms at the shelter on Irwin Simpson. There are NO restrooms at the l
 ot on Duke Blvd.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nRegistration\nSign up is required for BUF
 F Members on the BUFF website\, trips page or through the coordinator via 
 Buckeye Veterans e-mail announcement. Veterans Connect members register wi
 th the coordinator. There is no cost and parking is also free. There will 
 be no rain date.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nEquipment\nWe will be fishing from shore.
  Rods of 3 to 5 wt are sufficient for bluegill and bass. Tenkara is also a
  good choice. Small flies for the panfish. Streamers for the bass. Poppers
  and floating flies seem to work well.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNo fly rod? Rods are 
 available only with a reservation. Contact the coordinator.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
