Josh Miller – Pittsburgh, PA

Josh is one of the world’s best anglers.  He is a former Fly Fishing Team USA Member, and is now Head Coach of the US Youth Fly Fishing Team, which has won gold medals in international competition in 2023, ’24, and ’25.  Josh is an expert on Euro-Nymphing, and recently wrote a book on this style of angling.  He enjoys sharing his knowledge, guiding and instructing anglers through his guide service, “Trout Yeah Guide Service.”

Jim Sauerheber – Cumberland Valley Fly Fishing, Kentucky

Presentation: “Fly Fishing on the Cumberland River”

Jim Sauerheber has been expertly guiding anglers on his home waters of the Cumberland and Barren Rivers since 2011.  He is well known among our regional fishing clubs, with many members having fished with him multiple times.  He is a frequent guest and presenter at club meetings and regional fly fishing shows.

Shannon Young – Maggie Valley Fly Shop, Maggie Valley, NC

Presentation: “History of Fly Fishing the Great Smokey Mountains – past, present, & future”

Shannon Young began fly fishing as a teenager in the mountains of northern Georgia.  He and his spouse, Kristin, own and operate Maggie Valley Fly Shop in Maggie Valley, NC, a full-service shop and guide service.  Shannon enjoys teaching the arts of Euro- or “Czech”-nymphing on the beautiful streams of western NC.  He is a pro-staffer for Hardy Rods and Cortland Lines.   

Jeff Liskay

Presentation: “Fly Fishing on the Great Lakes”

Jeff Liskay was introduced to fly angling in the late 1980’s, and it’s been his passion ever since.  He is the owner of Great Lakes Fly Fishing, a widely respected guide service for fishing these incredible waters.  Jeff’s expertise includes casting instruction, multi-species knowledge, and one who loves seeking new fly angling opportunities for his clients.  From his home base in northern Ohio, Liskay has fished across the entire Great Lakes region, as well as other locations across the US and Canada.

JR Jackson

J.R. Jackson’s articles have been featured in Fly FishermanThe Drake, and Hallowed Waters. He resides in Albany, New York, and considers the Catskills and Adirondacks to be his home waters. He also enjoys fishing the saltwater surf from Maine to The Bahamas, and ties flies that consistently catch fish throughout that range. An Ohio native and University of Cincinnati graduate, J.R. spent his formative fly fishing years as an active member of BUFF, and is looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at the 2026 show! 

Lane Stocker

Lane Stocker has been fly fishing and tying flies for over 32 years.  She loves the challenge and creativity of tying her own flies and the satisfaction of catching fish on those flies.  

Chad Robinson

Chad Robinson is from Celeryville, OH.  Although fishing most of his life, he discovered fly fishing in 2020, and in 2022 began tying with help from the Land of Legend Fly Fishers club.  He soon found a love, passion, and skill for tying with deer hair.

Lance Kekel 

Lance is from Ravenna, OH, is an avid angler, has been tying flies for over 45 years, ties commercially for shops in Ohio & Michigan, and teaches fly tying.  He was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Norvise fly tying competition.
