Gold sparkle chenille
Rib:
Medium copper wire
Wing:
Rust rabbit strip (olive rabbit strip)
Throat:
Red wool (red marabou)
Collar: Pheasant rump
Head: Spun and clipped ram's wool (tan) (olive)

You will need a TMC300 hook or similar (6xl).
This this fly is meant to fish under the surface, I like to wrap some non-toxic lead wire.
Tie the marabou tail.  For this fly make equal or slighly shorter than the hook shank.  Then trim it.
Add a few strand of Krystal Flash.
Tie the body material and wing in the following order:
1. Wire
2. Chenille
3. The rabbit strip.  I tied the rabbit strip at the back because this prevents the material to wrap around the hook bend when you fish the fly.  The strip has to start and the end of the tail and end about 1/4 of the hook shank behing the eye of the hook.
Wrap the chenille and tie down.  Counterwrap the wire and tie down.  Finally tie down the rabbit strip at the front by pulling it tight.
Tie down the throat to the bottom of the hook shank and trim.

Tie the pheasant feathers.
Tie the wool in the same way deer hair is tied to be flared.  If you need further instruction on this, take a look at:

Trim the head "muddler minnow" style.
