BUFF BOARD MEETING MINUTES - DEC. 15, 1999

Members present: 
Louise Goldsberry, Bob Goldsberry, Tony Kalbli, Ed Jones, Mike Suo, Tom Jones, Bob Simmons, Jorge Villares, Joe Guenther, Bob Jones, Bill Fischer, Jim LeBlond, Jane Cook

Treasurer - See attached.

Education - No applicants as yet for the conservation award, Ed is continuing to work on it.

Programs - 

1. January is Bruce Wankle, he will talk about fishing in Tennessee and West Va.
2. Bob Goldsberry has some ideas as to environmental control people for February. Jim will 
   let Tom Frank know about it.

Trips - The trip to the ClearFork did not produce many fish but it was scenic and a lot of fun.

Conservation - 

1. Jorge met with T.U. guys on Sunday. The Mad River Steering Committee is meeting to talk about trout stocking on Feb 29. 7P.M. We need to arrange for people to attend this meeting. We will discuss again at next board meeting. 
2. Bob reported on the removal of dams on the Little Miami River. 
3. Officer Nominations - the elections were discussed. 
4. Conservation Donation Nominations - we will donate monies to:
   1.  Rivers Unlimited, Trout Unlimited - 
   2. Madmen 
   3. Highland Nature Preserve 
5. Mike Suo moved to transfer $170 from the general fund to conservation, Tom Jones seconded Motion carried. 
6. Mike Suo moved, Tom Jones seconded to contribute $300.00 to each of the nominations. Motion carried. 

CFRB - we need to continue to have the application in the Buffer. 

Bob Hart Show - we will pay for parking for the people who work the show.

Meeting Site - was discussed, tabled pending more research.

Education - Buff will help defray the cost of Greg Johnson teaching school kids and Boy Scouts about Fly Fishing and Tying.
